has the most players, with ten Players able to finish a hand quickly. Texas Hold'em Poker is the lowest-limit Multi-Player
Poker game.
The object of the game is to finish with the best poker hand, and win the pot.
The number of Players that can play Texas Hold'em Poker ranges from 2 to 10.
Note: If two or more Players have the same winning hand, the pot is split equally between them.
Texas Hold'em Overview
Note: To play Texas Hold'em Poker you must have enough chips to place a blind bet and a bet.
Texas Hold'em plays as follows:
- The Players to the left of the Dealer begin the game by posting the blind bets. The Player on the Dealer's
left posts a small blind, and the Player on the Small Blind's left posts a big blind bet.
Note: The Dealer's
position at the table changes after every game. The dealer-button shows the Dealer's position at the table.
- Two pocket cards are dealt to each Player.
- In the first round, the Player to the Big Blind's left plays first and can either:
- Fold
- Bet
- Raise
Note:
- In the first round, betting is capped at one bet and three raises per Player.
- The Big Blind is the only Player who can Check in the first round of betting.
- In the second round, three community cards are dealt. This is called the Flop. Players can either:
- Check
- Fold
- Call
- Raise
Note: The first two rounds of betting are at the lower limit, and the last two rounds
are at the higher limit. For example, in a $2/$4 game, the first two rounds are at $2 and the last two rounds are at
$4.
- In the third round, a fourth community card is dealt, called the Turn. Another round of betting follows.
- In the fourth round a fifth and final community card is dealt, called the River Card. This is followed by
the final round of betting. The remaining Players then use their two pocket cards and the five community cards to create the
best five-card hand possible. The winner takes the pot.
Note: If two or more Players have the same hand,
the pot is split equally between them. Any odd chips go to the Player nearest the Dealer.
Strategies
To improve your chances of winning, use the following strategies:
- Five of the total seven cards are viewable on the second round of betting. This gives you a good idea of
how strong your final hand could be.
- To complete a possible winning combination, it is important to consider how the five community cards interact
with your hidden hand.
- Fold when necessary. You haven't lost much if you have a worthless hand and decide to fold early in the game.
OMAHA
Omaha is similar to both Omaha Hi-Lo Poker and Texas Hold'em Poker. Players must create the best five-card
hand combination from a total of nine cards. The nine cards are made up of four pocket cards and five community cards. This
results in stronger hand combinations.
The Player who finishes with the strongest poker hand wins the pot.

Strategies

- Watch out for the low cards. You are looking for a high hand only.
- As there are five community cards to choose from, Straights and Flushes are common.
OMAHA HI - LO
Omaha Hi-Lo Poker is a variation of Texas Hold'em Poker. In Omaha Hi-Lo Poker, Players are less inclined to
fold on a bad hand as the highest and lowest hands split the pot equally.
The Players with the best high card hand and low card hand split the pot.
The number of Players that can play Omaha Hi-Lo Poker ranges from 2 to 10.

- Winning hands must consist of two pocket cards and three community cards.
Note:
Low Hand Rules
The following applies to low hands:
- Low hands can only win if all the cards in the hand have a value of eight or less.
- A low hand cannot contain the following:
- Pairs - Flushes - Straights
Note: A hand consisting of an Ace, Two, Three, Four, Five is an exception. It is the best
possible low hand. It also counts as a high hand and can win both pots.
- If the five community cards do not include at least three cards with a value of eight or less, there is no
possibility of making a low hand. In this event the high hand wins the whole pot.
- The lowest hand is initially determined by the value of the high cards first.
- If two or more Players have the same high card, the next lowest high card wins.
Examples:
- Player A has a hand consisting of an Eight, Six, Four, Two, Ace. Player B has a hand
consisting of a Seven, Six, Four, Three, Two.
Player B wins, as Seven is lowest high card.
- Player A has a hand consisting of an Eight, Six, Four, Two, Ace. Player B has a hand
consisting of an Eight, Seven, Four, Three, Ace.
Player A wins, as Six is next lowest high card.
- Player A has a hand consisting of an Eight, Six, Five, Four, Two. Player B has a hand
consisting of an Eight, Six, Five, Four, Ace.
Player B wins, as Ace is next lowest high card.
Important:
- Winning low hands must consist of two pocket cards and three community cards.
- Low hands can only win if each card in the hand has a value of eight or less.
Strategies
To improve your chances of winning, use the following strategies:
- A pair is more of a restriction than a help if one of the pair is a community card of the same value as one
of your private, low cards. This means that your hidden card does not give you a low hand advantage.
- When there are less than four Players at the table, you still lose money if the pot is quartered.
- You must decide quickly if you are eligible to play for the low hand, and adjust your betting accordingly.
- If you have a strong high hand after the flop, it is advisable to play aggressively through to the end. This
ensures you have a good chance of winning half the pot.
SEVEN CARD STUD

- Place an ante on the table.
Note:
- The ante amount is set by the card room.
- There is no ante amount when the game stakes are $0.50/$1.00.
- You are dealt three cards, two pocket cards and one visible card.
- The Player with the lowest card must bring-in the betting.
- A round of betting begins. Players can either:
- After all the players have contributed the same amount into the pot, the Fourth Street betting begins.
- The bet amounts are raised to the high limit in the Fifth Street and Sixth Street.
- The last phase of Seven Card Stud is the Seventh Street. This phase is also known as The River. The outcome
of the game is determined in this phase.
Important: If seven or eight Players are still in
the game in the Seventh Street, there are not enough remaining cards for each Player to be dealt a river card. In this situation,
the river card is dealt as a community card. Players then use their pocket cards, visible card and the community card to make
the strongest poker hand possible.
Strategies
To improve your chances of winning, use the following strategies:
- A big pair is worth betting on, unless another Player is betting aggressively on what seems to be a very
good hand.
- Fifth Street is a make-or-break point. As the bet amount doubles in this round, ensure your hand can produce
a win at the end of the game. This minimizes your loss.
- It is advisable to fold if another Player's exposed cards beat your entire hand.
- If you are trying to complete a Straight, check to see if the cards you need are displayed by another Player.
You can then adjust your strategy accordingly.
- Fold when necessary. Seven Card Stud Poker is a game of patience, so do not bet all your money on losing
hands.
FIVE CARD STUD
Five Card Stud Poker has four rounds of betting. It is a game that requires patience and skill, in knowing
when to fold or call. Players are able to make informed decisions based on the number of visible cards on the table. The number
of visible cards makes it easier for Players to judge the strength of their hands.
The object of the game is to finish with the best poker hand, and win the pot.
Five Card Stud Overview
Note: To play Five Card Stud Poker you must have enough chips to place an ante and a bet.
Five Card Stud Poker plays as follows:

- The ante amount is set by the card room.
- There is no ante amount when the game stakes are $0.50/$1.00.
- Each Player is dealt two cards, one pocket card and one visible card.
- The Player with the lowest card showing must bring-in the betting.
- In the second round, another visible card is dealt to all Players at the table. A round of betting follows.
This process continues until each Player has one pocket card and four visible cards.
- After the last visible card is dealt to each Player, a final round of betting follows. Remaining Players
display their pocket card. The highest hand wins.
Strategies
To improve your chances of winning, use the following strategy:
- Watch your opponents' visible cards. You can see when you are on a losing hand. And you can see if any card
that you need to complete a winning hand is already taken by another Player.
